These terms govern your use of loyalcanvas.com and the purchase of our products. By using our store or placing an order, you agree to them. Last updated 8 June 2026.

1. About us

This store is operated by Loyal Canvas, a studio operated from the Netherlands. Our products are printed and shipped by our print partners in the United States. Throughout these terms, we, us, and our mean Loyal Canvas, and you means the customer or site visitor.

2. Our products

We create custom, made-to-order pet portraits and related keepsakes from photographs you provide. Because every portrait is produced individually from your photo and your approved proof, each item is personalized and unique to your order.

3. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you're making an offer to purchase. We'll confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, if a product is unavailable, if there's an error in the price or description, or if we're unable to produce a quality portrait from the photo supplied. If we cancel a paid order, we'll refund you in full.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and are payable at checkout through our payment provider. We aim to keep all pricing accurate; in the rare event of an obvious pricing error, we'll contact you before processing your order. Any promotions are genuine and time-limited — we don't display permanent discounts against inflated reference prices.

5. The proof and approval process

After you order a portrait, we'll send a digital proof for your review, typically within 24–48 hours. You may request revisions to your proof free of charge before printing. By approving your proof, you confirm that the portrait is correct and authorize us to print it. Please review your proof carefully, as approval starts production of a custom item.

6. Returns, refunds, and replacements

Because our portraits are custom and made to order, they are non-returnable and non-refundable once you have approved your proof and the order has gone to print. However, we provide free revisions before printing, and we will reprint or replace items that arrive damaged, defective, or are lost in transit, in line with our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Your content and the rights you grant us

You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By submitting a photo, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You grant us a limited license to use your photo solely to create and fulfil your order. We handle your photos as described in our Privacy Policy and will not use them publicly or for marketing without your permission.

8. Intellectual property

The Loyal Canvas name, logo, artwork styles, website content, and the artistic rendering of your portrait are owned by us or our licensors. Your purchase grants you the right to use your portrait for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell our designs or reproduce them commercially without our written permission.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the store — including uploading unlawful, offensive, or infringing content, attempting to disrupt the site, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or refuse service for misuse.

10. Limitation of liability

We provide our products and store with care, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product or your use of the store is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with the date it was last updated, and applies to orders placed after that date.
