Who we are

Loyal Canvas (we, us, our) operates the store at loyalcanvas.com. We are operated from the Netherlands, and our portraits are printed and shipped by print partners in the United States. This policy is written for our US customers. If you have a privacy question, you can reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

Order & contact details — your name, email address, shipping address, and order history, so we can create and deliver your portrait and keep you updated.
Your pet photos and personalization — the image(s) you upload and any text you provide (such as a pet's name and dates for a memorial piece).
Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
Site usage data — basic information such as pages visited and device/browser type, collected through cookies to help the store work and improve.

How we use your pet photos

We want to be especially clear about this, because it's the most personal thing you share with us: the photos you upload are used only to create and fulfil your portrait order. They are shared with our print partner solely to produce your physical piece. We do not sell your photos, and we will not use them in marketing, on social media, or anywhere public without asking you first and getting your permission.

Who we share information with

We don't sell your personal information. We share only what's necessary with the service providers that help us run the store and fulfil your order: Shopify (our ecommerce platform, which hosts the store and processes payments via Shopify Payments), our US print & fulfilment partners (who receive your portrait file and shipping address to print and ship your order), and Klaviyo (our email provider, for order updates and, if you've opted in, marketing). These providers may use your information only to perform their services for us, not for their own purposes.

Cookies

Our store uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and understand how the store is used. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the store may not work as well without them.

How long we keep your information

We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, provide support, and meet legal and accounting obligations. If you'd like us to delete your uploaded pet photos after your order is complete, just ask and we'll remove them from our systems.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. To make a request, contact us through our contact page and we'll respond promptly.

Children

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
