Every Loyal Canvas portrait is made to order from your photo. Here's exactly what happens between your order and your doorstep — and how long each part really takes.
Where your order is made and shipped from
We want to be straightforward about this: Loyal Canvas is operated from the Netherlands, and our physical portraits are printed and shipped by our print partners in the United States. Your order is produced and dispatched domestically within the US, so it travels on US delivery timelines. We don't operate a US retail address, and we'd rather tell you plainly than imply otherwise.
How long it takes
Because each piece is custom, there are two stages — design and fulfilment:
- Digital proof: 24–48 hours. After you order, we craft your portrait and email you a digital proof to review and approve.
- Print & ship: 5–9 business days. Once you approve your proof, your portrait is printed and shipped by our US print partners and delivered to your address.
The clock on printing starts when you approve your proof — the sooner you approve, the sooner it ships. Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding US public holidays. Digital-download orders aren't printed or shipped; you'll receive your file by email after proof approval.
Shipping cost
Shipping rates are calculated and shown at checkout in US dollars. Shipping is free on orders over $75. We don't add surprise fees after the fact — the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
Tracking
When your order ships, we'll email you a tracking number so you can follow it to your door. If tracking hasn't updated in a few days, or you have any concern about where your order is, just reach out and we'll look into it for you right away.
International orders
Our pricing, timelines, and free-shipping threshold are built for the United States, which is where our print partners ship from. If you're ordering from outside the US, please contact us before you order — we'll let you know honestly whether we can fulfil your order, what the realistic timeline and cost would be, and whether any customs duties or import taxes might apply.
Wrong address or delivery problems
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — for custom pieces, an incorrect address can mean a lost order. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we'll contact you to arrange reshipment. If a confirmed-delivered order seems to have gone missing, get in touch and we'll help you trace it and make it right.
